About Us

Sarukaaru.com is an independent directory of government and public bodies in the Maldives. It lists ministries, councils, courts, independent commissions, schools, health facilities, utilities, and major companies, with their contacts, heads, and mandates, in English and Dhivehi.

Government records come from the Government of Maldives directory published by the President's Office at directory.presidency.gov.mv. Sarukaaru checks each record against that source on a schedule and shows the date of the last check on every page.

Gazette notices come from the Maldives Government Gazette at gazette.gov.mv. New notices are picked up within about 20 minutes of publication. The full text of a notice always links back to the official page.

Sarukaaru isn't a government website and isn't affiliated with any government body. If a record is wrong, use the "Report a correction" link on that page.
